Well, this was originally supposed to be just my dream diary for the holiday, but I guess The Umbrella of Truth had other plans for it, because...Look what we did with it!
Day One. Friday 25th May. 7:15am GMT.
*Lara*:
I am on the plane sitting with Helena & Ricky. I am in the window. We just crossed the channel. I will now pass over to Helena.
*Helena*:
We are over France looking at the boring French fields which are not enclosed by hedges. It is weird cos right now I would be eating breakfast and getting ready for school. Also, we crossed the channel really quickly, which is strange. Anyway, over to Ricky...
*Ricky*:
Like my plane would crash. I'm not that fortuneate. I still have 2 crackers and nobody wants them. OH and Max & Iain are the new Emma & Sabrina only they don't love each other. Lara can't be in our room, which means very little I guess but its not like she would rape us all/or vice versa. Contrary to my previous beliefs food tastes fine when your a mile high! Delicious. Relax? Doubt it. Maybe I should try being neo for a day...
*Taylan*:
Well sitting here, just listening to music and sitting next to the wierdly cool acting Ed, the whole thing seems to be going very quickly. I mean it feels like w ewere on the coach 10 minitus ago, I think its maybe the realisation...that I woke up at 2am!!! As we fly over Europe the clouds suddenly look cool and like they have taken on different forms than ever before, its cool, the airplane is...'k'. It is now 7:42am GMT and we will be arriving in Italy: Piza soon. Well goodbye from Taylan!
*Ed Davis*:
What can I say, watching field after small village after field pass by. I'm having the time of my life! At this very moment I'm listening to Taylan singing his rendition of "how to save a life" which is interesting to say the least. To tell the truth I'm not really sure which country I'm passing over because whenever I try to think Geographicly I strangely see Alan Tichmarsh (Thanks Mr Gunzi). I guess we'll be arriving in Italy soon so it's peace out from Ed.
*Iain*:
I'm tired but cannot sleep. I'm bored too and somehow I'm sitting next to Max again who is just listening to his music. So we will be in Italy soon, yes, but we'll sit on a coach for a bit more. I have had breakfast (which was sandwiches). I have read a bit and that's all. My legs hurt too and it feels like I've got no blood to my legs. So that's that. Looking forward to actually getting there and doing stuff.
*Lara*:
Runi says: I SLEPT.
*Sara*:
I tried to sleep. Not much luck though. I swear we were suppose to be arrive at 8.00am (GMT)-9.00am (Pisa). Anywayz...It is 8:18 now. Just like Iain I also am bored out of my skull-I tried listening to music but this doesn't seem to pass the time. This feels quite odd as we would be ins chool at the moment in the 'cage' as the 'American Lady' has ordered those sitting on the benches outside the 6th form. God why does this take so long? Uhh! But the who cloud thing is pretty cool. I wish I could have a piece of cloud. I wish I could open the window take a little chunk and keep it in a jam jar. Apparantly my dream shall not come true as if I opened the window, we would be sucked out, kind of like a vacume, u know the whole space thing. Anywayz... everyone wants to write a little. We are just going to start to decend, 22˚C, 4 colder than London yesterday, clear sky, 9000ft or watever. Anywayz...over and out. Peace, Sara
'Over to Alex my cool losing? buddy'
*Alex*:
The many adventures of me. As I write this there is extreme turbelance and im slowly dying, anywho, the clouds look nice and the random garlicy crackers are smelly although quitly listening to Tulsi's mcfly crap eases the pain. We should be in Italy soon so that I can sit down and explain to the dumb year 8's that Florence & Rome are two different places thus meaning that we have 2 hotols...(hotels, damn turbelance!) Yeah so Bye
from Alex (the cool one who actually came)
*Tulsi*:
Yeah...whatever, everyone else sucks, apart from unicorns and you. Hmm yeah so...my ear hurts, it's the whole cabin pressure thing. The toilets flush really fast, it's scary. I wonder where it all goes, does it just fall out of a hole onto the ground? or maybe it just gets lost forever in clouds and stuff. McFly are not crap, as Alex says, but you knokw he dosen't know much. Sara wrote bare. Now Sabrina looks really bored waiting for me to finish, as Alex steals my headphone. Sabrina listening to Japanese rap. Ok toodles. Tulsi.
*Alex*:
Thanks Tulsi
*Sabrina*:
GREEN! I don't really like green, but this page was too blue. Plus it's running out of ink. Bare turbulence up here! It's all like...WOAH! TURBULENCE *Cloe runs around shouting and grinding on randomers*. My ears are hurting from listening to Japanese rap too loud. And then I had to spit out my gum in the "DUAL PURPOSE SICK BAG" which also doubles up as a bag to put camera films in to be developed. Which is slightly confusing... should you put the film in before or after you've thrown up everywhere? I'm so huuunnnnggryyy Ricky give me some garlic-flavoured biscuits and now I smell a tad on the French side. I had pringles! THey're right here in the overhead compartments...damn my short genes. I'm getting sick of green now, but if I change colour Lra will get all angry and flush me down the scary toilet. So I think I should shutup altogether...Baci a tutti, ci vediamo dopo...Sabrina
*Tulsi*:
After all that, my ear still hurts.
*Runi*:
I've been awake for 6hrs and it's not even 9am! I've just sat here listening to my music & sleeping. YEY. Also, I am sooooooooooooooooo hungry! And I'm still not excited about Italy. Well...Che rottura di palle! RUNI
*Nathan*:
Wow my ears hurt, I want to eat pizza :-) and I'm very, very glad I'm sitting next to Runi and not the singing Taylan ha, ha, ha. Well on the plus side to this 2 hour plane trip is that we haven't crashed and died. I guess that there is a silver lining to every cloud. NATHAN.
Day One. Friday 25th May. 10:00pm Local Time.
*Lara*:
Hello. We are now in our slightly iffy hotel room. We are watching Ugly Betty in Italian. The Yr 10s are being loud-the girls AND the guys. Our bathroom just flushed out. Flooded. You know what I mean. I will hand over to Tasha now.
Ok, Tasha doesn't want to write now.
Day Two. Saturday 26th May. 10:35pm Local Time.
*Lara*:
Hello. We have come back from dinner. Shrek is on. Omg rapping. "Oh David ur so fine, ur so fine hey David". Sorry got jogged.
*Helena*:
Hey Helena here! Funniest time ever! We had to make up something to do with a postcard we were given. I was ina group with Cloe, Elise, Rosie and Max. We did about Goliath-the REAL story, featuring Max as a camp David! It was really funny and I will never look at ym shiny blue belt/scarf thingy in the same way again. All of them were REALLY good, in the end, the year 8's who did a rap about David won. Really, really tired, and have 3 mosquito bites. We are currantly throwing random Italian cakes to the year 10's across the weird, open courtyard (that's how I got rid of my Nachos). Dinner was better than yesterday, with chips & chicken instead of sour salad and random meat (Ricky thought it was rabbit).
We are going to Rome tomorrow, should be fun. Hopefully, I won't get any more mosquito bites! Goodbye
*Sara*:
Yo, You. It is like totally cool baby! Sabrina I don't get the Italian bit @ the end plz translate! Ciao Bella-god every1 like go0t that top, what was that. OOOO funny incident in the toilet including tsuey, elise and yours trully. I got my belt stuck so we had to cut it off. Aww...Than Elise realised there was another way without destroying my €4 belt. by unclipping it. Oh well! I changed it in to a tie, funky but random. I was like a military person called a Cambinare, whatever. Some Italian think which I still can't say! Sorry I luv u Sabrina plz don't murder me SLOWLY. bye folks. Sara x
Day Three. Sunday 27th May. 9:12am Local Time.
*Taylan*:
Yello, Tay here telling u bout a fairly good coach journey. We are travelling to Rome and in Italy it is now, 9:12am. After another hot mosquito bitful night we had another plain breakfast of stale bread and jam. Well, looking forward to going to supposedly a 4 star hotel in Rome...should be good...bored...Bye.
*Lara*:
Hey it's me. Runi was playing Bobby Carrot on my phone but he sca-rewed it up. So we are playing "In A Row" which is like the dumbest game ever but it's actually really challenging-on coach by the way. Omg everyone was talking SO LOUD last night. Realised this mornbing that I have become Mother. I get up before everyone else, I wake them up, organise them...Oh well. Toodles.
*Runi*:
I like playing "In A Row". We've been going for about 25mins and we still haven't run out of stuff.
*Nathan*:
Wow, listening to track 23 out of 865 on my iPod. It's a real shame that I don't know half the songs or how the got on. I'm just reminiscing about our hotel we just left and how you could shower while on the toilet. I'm getting my money now so see ya. Nathan
*Mair*:
On our way to Rome!! Wayhay :-)! Can't wait! This trip is crazy fun!! Oh David your so fine, your so fine you...yay! Your cool Daniel! lol! Coach is fun-wayhay fun to gossip. love you all x Mair
*Lauren*:
Ok, all I can actually think about now is how much I need the toilet! Gosh, two bottles of water-not good! On the coach atm, eating way to many sweets, chatting and singing VERY LOUD and very badly! (Have a feeling the people around us have been getting slightly annoyed!) Having lots of fun-all thge amazing singing made me laugh so much yesterday! K, I'm stop now-nearly in Rome! woo! :-) Bye! Love Lauren xxx
*Rose*:
Heya, I don't know what this is but I'm loving Italy so far!! Journey has been great-lots of great singing hope you enjoyed it! Have fun the rest of the trip Love Rose
Day Three. Sunday 27th May. 1:55pm Local Time.
*Lara*:
Hello we are now at the Rome hotel-WOOP! We have a SHOWER that doesn't FLOOD THE ENTIRE BATHROOM! Helena just locked us out of the fricking room (already) but it's all good. I'll pass to Alex now.
*Alex*:
I miss Maria, her concept on love and flying was amazing and now I'm sad, although this new hotel is cool and I never though I'd be soo happy to have a lock on a door and not to have a whole in the ground. Yeah anyway I'm being cut off so Caiuooo Ciauoooo
Day Three. Sunday 27th May. 7:45pm Local Time. Eating in restaurant.
*Tulsi*:
Hey hey, erm yeah. 3rd day...I think. I've lost all track of time. But yeah. Massive 4 hour coach journey, took forever. I was so damn tired..(They charge 2€ for 1 can of coke! madness!) anyhoo, too the point. I'm tired Hungry, and my feet hurt. Oh. and they smell bad.
"Ciao bella!" as the crazy beggar says. 'it's gypsy talk!' Tulsi xx over to Alex...
*Alex*:
2 of the 3 Italian things I need to hear, I have heard. on Saturday I heard someone say Mamamia! and today some guy said Mario although I still need someone to shout Luigi for me to be HAPPY! Also today I met the first literal Italian Stallion (we all watched the horse racing :) ) as well as seeing the transvestite news reporter with angry fake eyebrows...Yeah so food (mmm)
See ya pimps (Alex)
*Cloe*:
Italy=vary cool (couldn't spell for a second there...) I love the hot weather, and we saw the biggest wedgie in the universe. And a guy in a piazza who kept on trying to give us zappy gum...great hotel! It's a shame it's such a short time, though. Oh yeah, when we were being sold stuff a year 8 shouted out, "We are timetable 1! We aren't dumb, we do Latin! Tu es mendax!" and he walked off...and the guy with the writing stall in Florence...good times! from Cloe xxx
*Elise*:
Italy=feeling Hot Hot Hot! First hotel...poo. second was snazzy. Shame I don't feel safe in the shower without people walking in going "heloo DAHling!' Rosie the pervey moo. The selling people were tards. they mimicked Rosie (sp?). But so far so darn good. Spantilyfuttybuttytastic. Elise x
*Olivia G*:
Hello Lara (n everyone who reads this),
I still can't quite believe we're in ITALY! I mean ITALY, in a **** hotel and a Rome shopping trip tomorrow in the sunny sunny sunshine! HEAVEN! The first hotel was crap, but this one is B-E-A-U-tiful!!! There are a few down sides to it (Italy) like expensive phone bills, sweaty people who smell and the MILLIONS of pervs who bombard us with junk and expect us to pay 10+ for it!!! AND they NEVER leave you alone!! Oh yeah, when you asked me if I was alright coz I looked really disgusted, that was because I tried an aubergine for the first and last time! It's disgusting! Unless you like them, never ever have one! LOL! Cya, Olivia x (the annoying 1 in yr8 who is always (nearly) with Larissa!)
*Max= Hump de dump Scoobie Doobie, Sabrina= Terms and conditions apply*
Hump de dump SCOOBIE DOOBIE Terms and conditions apply.
*Iain*:
Wow 4* hotel with marble floors & chandeliers a& minibars & lots of lifts!!! Food @ restaurant is pretty much same every day (poor) and the city is quite nice. Apart from all the other tourists. Over & out from Iain.
Day Four. Monday 28th May. 3:35 Local Time.
*Lara*:
Well due to Miss Marshall's divine Hand of Power, a totally unsheltered Roman ruin, a superstitious guide and a rather large thunder/sandstorm, we are back at the hotel without a) having gone to the Vatican, b) someone to take us, c) any idea what we're doing.
But hey. We did do the Colosseum. And about 5 million Arc de Triomphs. And stand in a hallway for one and a half hours with tourists in yellow paperthin macs SINGING, waiting for Miss Tobin and Mr McConnell to come back with lunch.
Showered this morning. And of course it rained. Because it always rains when I wash my hair. But this one I can firmly blame on Marshallus rather than an unknown power. Miss Tobin's umbrella broke. It said Soddisfatti on the Metro. Marshallus used to be a Spice Girls fan.
*Helena*:
Right now we are in the lobby waiting to go/do something that we have not been informed about yet. I really hope we are not doing any more waling because my toe is killing me! So now I will just sing...
*Ricky*:
So here I am again. Only 4 days in at a 4* hotel. Funnily enough our old room was bigger. Had some fun in the rain today (name of my new single! £3.00 at HMV) so I guess it can't get much better. Vegetarian here means "I eat cheese instead of meat" which is great because I'm not hungry anyway. I'd like to make this longer but Lara would kill me if I waste more time...SLATFATF, Ricky
*Alex*:
I miss Emma, just staring into the shining droplets of rain remind me of her...wait wrong character.
*Cloe*:
Lol at the perverted vender guys (SCARY!!!) and at the tour guide that left us for 2 hours in the rain. Lol at the thunderstorm and the year 8s shuffling method. We're going home tomorrow. Aw, man. Did anyone even buy anything from them?? We didn't go to visit the pope. Oh well. I'll miss it! Cloe x
*Ed Davis*:
Hello it's me Ed again. I am torn between the choice of shopping or St Peters. I can't be bothered to write anymore so bye.
*Iain*:
Why go shopping in a train station? No! So, rainy today. Rain rain rain rain. (I)
*Helena*:
Hey we are going to St. Peters, to see the places in Angels of Demons. Shopping in a train station? How weird!
*Kirsty*:
Shopping in a station? Wow ridiculous. I'd rather shop duty free, music is playing in my head but nothing around. Copycat, copycat (IA) LOL...Loveage...2 St Peters Basilica & the Vatican & Away...Kirsty
Day Four. Monday 28th May. 7:20pm Local Time.
*Lara*:
Vatican owned. The Umbrella of Truth! Waiting in lobby to go to dinner. Runi leaning on me. Took so many pictures. Guide pissed everyone off so bad lol.
Miss Tobin went to party as Cleopatra and everyone thought she was Cher! OMG *foreign feats* lol. I'm handing to Ru Poo now.
*Runi*:
Today was good, the colosseum was very cool. Shopping was alright, but I should've gone to the Vatican cos apparently it was AMAZING. Wooo lalala meh oh well
*Taylan*:
Yo people Taylan here on day 4 it is 7:27 and we are about to have diner, today we visited coloseum and forum...very nice. But after sand & rain storm Vatican cancelled. I tehn shopped and had fun...looking forward to "good" dinner. Bye!!
*Rosie*:
Hello. My name is Rosie, the perverts are hilarious, I may join. Mm...The trips been fun. Very. Elise lost her virginity to Cloe. I watched.
P.S. I walked into the bathroom on Elise..It was beautiful.
Day Four. Monday 28th May. 7.40pm Local Time.
*Amy*:
Oroite mate?
This is the LAST SUPPER. The last time our tastebuds will be blessed with pasta and...meat? What ARE those main courses?
Italy has been AMAZING! Or as our street seller friends would say...LOVELY JUBLY. I have made BARE new friends. I can't remember all the names but I love you anyway! And I have seen SO MANY WILLYS! THose statues don't do clothing obviously.
I have learnt many new things, not least of all that my friends are easily entertained by PAPER TABLE CLOTHS and BAD SCOTTISH ACCENTS.
Oh and SPINNING MONEY. I have also learnt Italy gets COLD and WET. The train stations have funny names like ANGINA and shops are called FANINI. Ha HA ha HA ha HA.
Hotel Veneto was...QUESTIONABLE. I have never seen Ugly Betty in Italian before though. There were some good memories there though. OH DAVID YOU'RE SO FINE! BITCHIN! However, Archimedes is FAB! THey have AIR CONDITIONING and BATHROOM DOOR LOCKS! Luxury! This is turning essayish, so I just want to say ITALY IS AMAZE! And good luck for the quiz tonight. I WILL SO (NOT) WIN. YAY! And hope you had a great trip. Love AMY
*Elise*:
The fountain was amazing. The bubbles and couple were uber cool. Definatly want to come back and boogie. Loads of perverts Erlak (looking at tulsi's bottoooom). crazy pics and groovy hats. Rome is SICK BLAD! I don't want to go home. Elise xxx :-)
*Ricky*:
Tonight was proof of many things. For one it prooved how much I favour lunch over dinner. I barely wanted to eat. I barely finished dinner, I had little to talk to/about, and more importantly it became apparant how I pour too mutch faith into something. The cheers and laughter of the table behind me didn't aid things either. BUT I didn't pity myself because everything is set on its only course and that thought alone is just about draggeing my fallen body throguh the barren wasteland of dinner.
Well my leaving is neigh. Don't get the wrong impression things could be infinitely worse. Well lara will get EVEN MORE peeved with me if I continue this meaningless hand motioning.
from Ricky. Roger.
*Olivia G*:
OMG, I can't believe we're going home tomorrow! We haven't stayed long enough! I am going to miss Italy soo much (even with the annoying illegal immigrants selling you crap)! I shall HAVE to come again, it's so preeti! Oh well, at least I'll see my family again (big moan). Oh look, dinner's ready!! Help!! What challenge do we have to eat today? Cold rat stew? Frog-spawn broth? I shall soon find out! Bubi!! Love Olivia xxxx
*Nikoo*:
In Issy's words, calling the Trebi fountain a fountain is like calling Big Ben an alarm clock-it was sooooo amazing! I'm gonna miss the tiramisu ice creams, the amazing marano (did I get that right?) glass jewellry, the street music :$ maybe even those racially-discriminative, pervy, sexist pigs of rose sellers! haha I had a FAB time ;) Nikoo xxxxxx
*Ricky*:
Even though Lara will most likely have a go at me for writing 3 times in 1 day I am bored and no one was writing in this. Anyway forget what I said before, nothing changed much but after having a pitiful "rest" I just realised that this seems bad now but a (hopefully) good event will probably cancel out my painful dinner. Of course I realise how obscure that is but I feel I am entitled seeing as I planned to move to a different table after eating were demolished by a heartwarming group effortlessness. I realise that this was spelt wrong but I don't care.
From a probably disallowed form (Insert picture of me on a horse) writing in this again, Ricky
*Rest: Apparantly as good as a change and esp. vice-versa
PS: I don't blame anyone. If anyones half as tired as I am I wouldn't have thought twice about doing nothing.
PSS: It is still dinner!!!
*Lara*:
Ricky that MAKES NO SENSE!
Day Four. Monday 28th May. 9:00pm Local Time.
*Nathan*:
Ricky was telling me of his problems, mainly it consisted of having his foreign plug adapter in his jumper the whole time. Now we are in the lobby having a quiz. I can't lose with my lucky hat! Nathan
*Charlotte*:
Heyho Lara, my yellow, mellow, Cello fellow (hehe) Isn't Italy great-especially as the one day it forget my mac it rains...just my luck! But otherwise it's been ace-the vinegar drenched salad and oversized chicken McNugget wasn't as bad as it sounds! We also saw the Collosseum & the Vitican 2day which was amazing! I was lyk 'wowzers!' (in an aussie accent!). But I do think a cooler day was necessary-as even now I am boiling hot...in more way that are-no, just kiddin-sorry it wasn't funni. But it is reely hot in this room! Hehoo-my group won the quiz-so YOU LOOSE HAHA! No, you didn't really-we only got lollipops. Coolies, luv ya-She is a Disney character! x Charli x
Day Four. Monday 28th May. 10:30pm Local Time.
*Helena*:
Hey, me Helena here in hotel room. Keep getting calls from someone who keeps hanging up. I suspect it's Iain & Max. Also listening to iPod.
We just had a quiz about everything that's happened so far on the trip. I was with Alex, Tulsi Sabrina, Natasha and Sara. We probably did quite well but we didn;t win. (I know we would have if we were called the Sexy Vanilla Pretzels!)
In the quiz, our group put down Miss Querin did nothing at school, and got no points.
Anyway, we just found out that our phone can't dial numbers and that we have graffiti etched onto the doorframe, so searched for the Marshmallow, and told her about it. (on the way encountering many disturbing things). Anyway, last day tomorrow, gonna miss Italy. Over to Lara...
*Lara*:
HAHA THE MARSHMALLOW!
Ok so our group came 2nd. Because we got the Which Disney Character Is Miss Tobin Most Commonly Referred To As" question wrong. Because we knew Mary Poppins isn't a Disney character. So we guessed. And Runi wanted to write Dumbo.
MARY POPPINS IS NOT A DISNEY CHARACTER. THE FILM TITLE MARY POPPINS IS A DISNEY FILM. MARY POPPINS IS THE MAIN CHARACTER IN A FICTIONAL BOOK OF THE SAME NAME, CREATED BY P.L. TRAVERS IN 1934. WE SHOULD HAVE COME JOINT 1ST. THAT QUESTION SHOULD HAVE BEEN DISREGARDED.
Screw it. They only got lollipops.
We had schnitzel for dinner. Dinner ruled! We were with Rose & Amy & Lauren & Mair and we just kept comparing experiences of all the teachers not on the trip. "I'm Max Gelibter my roll number is 247056" etc lol. And all the teachers burst out laughing and everyone just joined in like "ho ho ho" lol.
I am the only pertson on this trip who has no mosquito bites. Go me.
MARY POPPINS IS NOT A DISNEY CHARACTER!!!
Day Five. Tuesday 29th May. 8:30 Local Time. Hotel Lobby.
*Tulsi*:
Right, so. today it is going to rain. the Italian man said so. He must be right. We're also going to Austia which is like Little Pompeii. Then going straight to the airport. Long day. We (me, Alex, Sabrina, Helena, Sara and Natasha) were the ones that wrote Miss Qweryn (?) didn't do anything in the hotel. We we're going to write Miss Tobin was Goofy, but y'know. Anyhoo, I feel liek I'm writing about nothing so I'll pass over to someone...Tulsi
Day Five. Tuesday 29th May. 9:10am Local Time.
*Lara*:
It's Tuesday morning and we are on the coach. I was literally the last person on. Everyone kept falling off their cases in the lobby. Last day!
London sucks.
*Olivia G*:
Hi! I am writing in green because in Portugal green is the colour of hope and I really hope Maddie McCann is found. Anyway, I can't believe we're going today! It's heart breaking! :-( Hope everyone has a FAB half term! Remember if you threw a coin in the Trevi fountain, you WILL come back to Italy! Cya everyone! Lots & lots of love Olivia xxxx
*Christiana*:
This is my first 'away' school trip, and what a fun experience it was. I want to thank absolutely everyone exept a few people who can't act normal (no names mentioned :-) ) you know who you are. This trip helped me to make lots of new friends in other year groups, which is great :-) Special thanks to the teachers :-), they were fab. I hope everyone had a brill time, just like me, and I am coming back, I promise! :) Love from Christie xxx
*Rosie*:
I don't know what to write. Hm. I'm on the coach. I'm hot and hungry and it's raining. But awesome trip. Don't want to go home.
I don't even know where we are going, I thought we were going to the airport, but apparently not. Sigh. DON'T WANNA GOO HOOOME. London so spazztarded.
*Cloe*:
Hi, Cloe here :-) Well I'm in my ultra cool rain jacket. It keeps me dry. WOW WOW WOW...we used the badu!! lol at Elise sitting in it and it felt strange...good times. I'm reeally going to miss it. It's been so good. Ciao ciao! xxx
*Lauren*:
I HATE ENGLAND! :-(
Meh! So wish we could stay here-don't want school-it sucks! Made so many new friends-who I promise to still speak to! Rose told me to say 'LOL' so yeh lol. Must dash, Lara is getting annoyed with me cos everyone needs to write.
Avoir! (wrong language)
Love Lauren xxx (And Mair-she's next to me :-) )
*Ricky*:
Runi and Ricky here. Runi appears to be a little tired as am I. We are sitting on the coach on the way to Ostia, from which we will begin the journey home. I was right yesterday I feel great mainly because we're listening to Journey. Whcih is odd because this is our JOURNEY home. Freaky...
*Alex*:
I miss my Alexian counterpart, now whenever I do something mind numbingly stupid I don't have someone to blame, also, I think we should of got a point for saying that miss Querin did nothing in the school and because we had the courage to add a -y to the end of each of the teachers names (I personally prefer Marshy compared to the other names). Anywho it's raining again adn my heads vibrating on the coach window (which is more annoying than it sounds)
Yeah so see ya, Prego!
Bitchen' (random hand gesture)
*Tsuey*:

Day Five. Tuesday 29th May. 5:45pm Local Time.
*Ricky*:
We're on the plane and I'm definitely going to miss badminton which is annoying but oh well. Despite the "I don't want this trip to end!"s I do because I think its been a while and all I really want to do is go home and relax. This diary thing wasn't such a wierd idea. I didn't think so before but it seems more normal now. What is that random "Doong!" sound and what does it mean? Oh well Max is asleep so I want to throw something at him to wake him up. I like to think of myself as a servant of karma. I don't feel much different at all though I'm annoyed I was more excited about coming back rather than going. An air hostess just shoved her ass into my face. Oh well it was fun beyond what I imagined, though I didnt get to do the *thing* I'd planned. I've given up on the idea because I've come to terms with the situation. Its not excactly a great thing but thats the facts of life. Lara just walked by saying "I know all of your email addresses". Great to know. Well this is probably my last entry. Soon the trip will become no more, but no less than a memory.
From Ricky RS Nathvani Esquire II.
*Believe it or not I'm the 2nd ever Ricky Nathvani (the other one is somewhere in India)
*Max*:
Buon Giorno! First time I've written in the book & we're on the plane! Wow...So. Been to Italy & back (unless we crash in the nxt 1/2 hr...) Groovy groovy, not much to say. My trainers have gone pinkish and I know your email addresses people!! Mwah ha haha!! Au revoir, pet. Maximus/Massimo/Iain
*Alex*:
In the plane; I used a semi colon correctly. Yeah so seeing McDreamy has made me miss TV and as a sign of gratitude to Greys Anatomy I'll write in Mc's for a while. McPilot keeps making McBleep sounds which makes me look at my McSeatbelt which is McF***ing annoying. Yeah so, so far I've made 2 chocolate wraper ducks and 4 whells (Yes I ate a lot of chocolate) and then I walked for ages; anywho (my concluding words) Italy is nice and very...Italian and for whoevers read all my entries, I'm sincerely sorry. from Alex (McCool)
*Cloe*:
In the plane on the way back to smelly England. Poo. Crap seats on the plane. Iain and Sabrina are asleep. I hope everyone stays in touch. It's been so much fun!! I've eaten 500 chocolates, and a cocopop bar so far...I'll sure miss eating a le italiano! Cloe xxx
*Runi*:
Well it's finished. It really was a great trip especially the final night in Rome. I'm a bit angry cos I was soaked for most of today. But now I'm dry & happy. Runi
*Taylan*:
I think that overall the trip has been a fun one. The last day was raining but running through ruins soacked was very cool...I think I'm ready to go though. Taylan.
*Helena*:
Wow! It was a fun trip! Especially going from a two star to a four star hotel! Everything that happened: David your so fine, Miss Tobin=Mary Poppins, Marshallus the Goddess, everything was so fun. Today I was soaked, but I have enjoyed it very much!
*Tulsi*:
Well, what an eventfull day, walking around Roman ruins for 30 mins, picking up extraordinarily large pinecones as presents for Alex Luke and Fizza, oh, a small one for Fiona. Did anyone else laugh at the story of how Sara got lost? (sorry Sara if you're reading this) Tulsi xx
*Iain*:
WOMAN IN FRONT HAS JUST COMPLAINED TO MISS MARSHALL ABOUT "STUDENTS' BEHAVIOUR" Hmmm...well anyway as usual everyone seems to be having so much more fun than me, all together etc. (Not that I'm complaining) Have enjoyed Italy, have nothing to look forward to at all except tomorrow's dentistry appointment now. So...I'm quite annoyed that I was stupid enough to forget to steal anything from the hotels. Oh well. from Iain/Lain/Max
*Sabrina*:
It was the year 8s, not us...but we're all probably going to get told off anyway. Screw your 4 line rule! I'm writing 5 if it kills me. The trip was good overall. Well, the Rome bit anyway. Now I'm going to go home and eat Chinese food. Hurrah! No more pizza! Your neighbourhood line waster, Sabrina. Though I'd like to point out that Ricky has wasted far more than me...
*Lara*:
Well THANKS for leaving me ROOM Iain & Sabrina. I shall end on this note: Year 9s were great, Year 8s were great, Year 10s were great, teachers were great. Italy owned, the trip owned, and the Umbrella of Truth was mine. Oh yes.
